Taylor Swift & Celine Dion's Sweet Backstage Moment Shuts Down Fan Outrage

Taylor Swift and Celine Dion shut down fans' outrage with a sweet moment backstage at the 2024 Grammys. For the last award of the night, Dion surprised fans by making an unannounced appearance to present Album of the Year. When she revealed Swift and her 2022 album Midnights had taken home the coveted award, fans were upset when Swift seemed to ignore Dion on stage.

However, Swift just waited to have a moment with the pop icon off-stage. In new photos from backstage, the two performers are seen sharing a warm embrace, effectively shutting down the outrage on social media.

Dion's surprise arrival at the 2024 Grammys marked her first public appearance in months and comes amid her battle with a rare neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome. Last week, Amazon MGM Studio announced I Am: Celine Dion, a feature-length documentary that will stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. "This intimate exploration takes viewers on a journey inside Celine's past and present as she reveals her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and the lengths she has gone to continue performing for her beloved and loyal fans," a press release shared. In 2022, the Canadian singer revealed to her fans that she had been diagnosed with the incredibly rare and incurable neurological disorder.
