I was just talking about this with my wife over the weekend.. Yesterday, Californians voted to make Daylight Saving Time permanent! Daylight Saving Time has been proven to be better for farmers and energy conservation, while being less disruptive to the daily lives of children. The California legislature still needs to approve the change, which will mean that once Californians lose that hour in the spring, they will never, ever get it back. I for one, would love to see a country wide agreement to meet in the middle and stay that way forever. I HATE when we fall back.. When you have young kids, it doesn't mean extra sleep, it means it gets dark and depressing earlier.. BLAH! How can we get that on the next big election here??
