Nipsey Hussle Murder Suspect Allegedly Attacked Neighbor One-Hour Earlier

Nipsey Hussle's alleged murderer pistol-whipped a man just an hour before he killed the 33-year-old rapper and activist, TMZ reports.

Two women have reportedly come forward, claiming a male friend recently told them he was attacked at his apartment by murder suspect Eric Holder an hour before Nipsey's murder.

According to their statements to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, obtained by TMZ, Eric lived in the same building as the alleged victim and sometimes hung out with him and smoked marijuana. He claims Eric showed up to his apartment around 2 p.m. on March 31, and was very upset, claiming he'd sold him weed that was laced with another drug. The alleged victim said they went into a hallway in their apartment building to talk about it, and according to the statements, Eric was "breathing very heavily and appeared very excited and very agitated." Eric reportedly got more hostile, so the guy tried to return to his apartment, but was allegedly pistol-whipped in the back of the head.

While on the ground, still conscious, the alleged victim claims he saw a gun, he described as a "big silver gun" and "semi-automatic." After getting himself together, he said he got up, retreated to his apartment, and saw Eric "shaking." Adding he "looked very nervous" before leaving.

The women claim their friend admits to selling Eric $10 worth of weed, but say it was straight from a dispensary and not laced, to his knowledge. The alleged victim told the women he found out about Eric's connection to Nipsey's murder days later but was "was afraid to report his encounter because he knows Holder's a gang member," TMZ reports. Not to mention, the incident went down because of an alleged bad drug deal.

As previously reported, Nipsey was gunned down outside his Los Angeles clothing store on March 31 around 3 p.m. Video captured a man, believed to be Eric, shooting Nipsey multiple times before kicking his body and fleeing the scene in a getaway car.

Eric was captured two days later following a city-wide manhunt and charged with murder. Most recently his attorney, Christopher Darden, stepped down as his lawyer after he and family members received death threats.
