What would you do if your Mother-in-law showed up to your wedding in a wedding gown? Could you be as forgiving as this bride?
Amy Pennza of Ohio Tweeted her wedding day fail, “My mother-in-law wore a wedding dress to my wedding. So, yeah, top that one, Twitter.”
Amy says she didn't think to ask her Mother-in-law what she planned to wear to the wedding. When Amy's Maid of Honor saw the Mother-in-law wearing a wedding gown she hoped Amy would be too distracted to notice. Amy says there was no fight at the wedding over the gown.
Amy Tweeted that she had no bad feelings towards her Mother-in-law saying, “Here’s the thing: My mother-in-law is extremely frugal. And I don’t mean she just enjoys a good bargain. To understand her, you have to know where she comes from.”
“So, yeah, the wedding dress was a shock. But it gave me a pretty funny memory. No one who attended has ever forgotten it. And, you have to admit, weddings can be forgettable.”
